　　On December 20, 2024, the National Natural Science Foundation of China's major project "Research on the Regulatory Effects and Mechanisms of Physical Fields on Neural oscillations" was launched and the 2024 academic exchange conference was held in Guangzhou.

　　Academician Gao Tianming from Southern Medical University reported on the overall overview of the project, the implementation of the annual research plan, and the research results of the project he is responsible for. The project leaders reported on the progress, difficulties, challenges, and future work plans of each project. The attending experts had a thorough exchange on the progress of the project, affirmed the preliminary achievements of each research topic, and put forward constructive opinions on the focus of scientific issues, improvement of technical routes, and establishment of communication platforms for the project.

　　The academic leadership group of the project, members of each research group, invited experts, and relevant staff from the Interdisciplinary Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China attended the meeting.
