　　According to the Notice on Organizing the Implementation of the Second Phase Project of the Excellent Action Plan for Chinese Science and Technology Journals (KXFCZZ [2024] No. 41), the Evaluation Plan for the Second Phase Project of the Excellent Action Plan for Chinese Science and Technology Journals and relevant regulations of the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the National Press and Publication Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a total of 463 selected projects of the Second Phase of the Excellent Action Plan for Chinese Science and Technology Journals were determined through public declaration, qualification review, statement and defense, review by the expert committee, and publication of the results. Among them, Fundamental Research, an English journal under the supervision and sponsorship of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, has been selected for the Excellent English Tier 2 Journal Project and will receive funding of no more than 500000 yuan per year for five consecutive years. This is a milestone achievement achieved through the joint efforts of the editorial team, reviewers, readers, and authors under the guidance of the journal's chief editor team. 　　2024 is the starting year of the second phase of the Excellent Action Plan for Chinese Science and Technology Journals. 　　The Action Plan for Excellence in Chinese Sci tech Journals is jointly implemented by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the National Press and Publication Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
