[Animal Modeling Pharmacodynamic ]Evaluation Electrical Stimulation Induced Myocardial Ischemia Model

  1. Animal modeling materials: male rabbits; Instrument: Electric stimulator.

  2. Method of modeling: Electric stimulation of the right hypothalamic dorsomedial nucleus and optic nerve edge area in animals, with stimulation parameters of 0.2ms wave width, 50 times/s frequency, weak stimulation (12V) and strong stimulation (60V). First, weak stimulation is applied for 5 minutes, followed by continuous stimulation for 2-3 times with an interval of 1-3 minutes. Then, strong stimulation is used 2-3 times, and the model is formed after 30 minutes.

  3. Modeling principle: Electrical stimulation of the right hypothalamus leads to myocardial ischemia in animals.

  4. Changes after modeling: Ischemic electrocardiogram changes characterized by ST segment depression can be obtained after modeling, lasting for several hours or more, with flat or inverted T waves and slowed heart rate.

  5. Precautions: Surgical instruments should be strictly disinfected to prevent surgical infections, surgical trauma should be minimized, and sterile operations should be strictly carried out.
