[Animal modeling] - Atherosclerosis model induced by acrylamide hydrochloride

  Method 1

  1. Animal modeling material: Rabbit, regardless of gender; Medication: 1% acrylamide hydrochloride.

  2. Method of modeling: Inject 1% acrylamide hydrochloride injection into the ear vein of animals at a dose of 16mg/(kg · d) for 2 consecutive weeks.

  3. Modeling principle: Acrylamide hydrochloride causes atherosclerosis in animals.

After 2 weeks of modeling, there were proliferative changes in the coronary artery.

  Method 2

  1. Animal modeling material: Rabbit, regardless of gender; Medication: 1% acrylamide hydrochloride, pure cholesterol.

  2. Modeling method: First, animals were given a daily dose of 1g/kg of pure cholesterol for 4 consecutive weeks. After the cholesterol rose to above 1000mg/L, 1% acrylamide hydrochloride injection was injected into the ear vein of the animals at a dose of 16mg/(kg · d) for 2 consecutive weeks.

  3. Modeling principle: Acrylamide hydrochloride causes atherosclerosis in animals.

  4. After modeling, the animals showed changes in the intimal surface of large myocardial branches and lesions in the main coronary artery.
